Lip Blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that can enhance the color & shape of your lips, giving the impression of more fullness. The color is subtle and smooth, comparable to a lip stain.

The results can last between 2-5 years, depending on skin type as well as skin regimen, lifestyle and external factors such as sun exposure.

  • Natural fading occurs from external factors & internal factors that can gradually break down the pigments as your body metabolizes them. It is suggested to book a Lip Blush refresh every 1 to 3 years to maintain the desired shape and colour.

    (IMPORTANT: If you have had previous work done you must first submit a well-lit, make-up free photo of your lips to hello@studiotamsenrae.com for approval. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.)

  • Yes, but it's crucial to take prescribed anti-viral medication (e.g., Valtrex) one week before and after your appointment to prevent outbreaks, which could affect the results. If you have an active cold sore, you must reschedule your appointment.

  • A follow-up appointment 6-8 weeks after the initial session is necessary to address any inconsistencies in the healed lip color.

  • Healing typically takes 4 to 6 weeks. Expect the lips to feel tender and darken significantly within 24 hours post-procedure. Scabbing may occur within 7-10 days. Gentle washing and application of barrier cream are recommended, along with avoiding sun exposure, cosmetics, excessive sweating, spicy foods, staining foods, and teeth whitening products to ensure optimal healing.
